Shared Work Space, Drop-In Childcare, Café and Dining Conveniently Converge Under One Roof

CHAMPAIGN, August 10, 2017 — Lodgic Everyday Community — a Moose International non-profit initiative launching in Champaign early summer 2018 — has announced baseline pricing for this first-ever concept. Workplace access will start at $100 a month for entry-level memberships. Unlimited 24-hour-access monthly packages will start at $270. Flexible drop-in passes — likely to be in the range of $20 per day — will give nomadic day lodgers the same access as full members to inspiring huddle rooms, quiet phone tents, healthy snacks, high-octane joe, classic shared-office amenities, fiber-speed bandwidth, and a vibrant, productive environment.

Families who need flexibility will flourish with access to new, on-demand, learning-oriented childcare. Drop-in childcare rates start at $9 per hour. Other childcare packages will discount rates further for multi-hour, multi-day and multi-child.

Lodgic Everyday Community will also feature its own signature café-market and restaurant with price options to suit anyone looking for a craft coffee, the perfect spot for a business lunch, local drafts over happy hour, a date night out, and take-home-ready meals to feed the family after a long day. Lodgic aims to locally source 40% of its menus.

Lodgic Everyday Community will be conducting research focus groups in October. “The feedback we’ve received from local leaders and new friends has been very encouraging and supportive,” said Scott Hart, CEO, Moose International. “We know the innovative spirit of Champaign-Urbana will shine during these focus groups. With input from the community, we’ll be aiming to deliver exactly what it wants and needs to nourish its aspirations.” Building on existing market research, Lodgic will continue to tailor the concept to meet the unique needs of the local community. Research group participants will have the chance to offer their input on pricing and packages and other amenities.

Champaign-Urbana area residents who want to participate in groups should submit their interest by visiting All inquiries will be vetted by the Lodgic Everyday Community research team who will manage the study. Space is limited.
